ماهو تعريف ال Fire wall الاول ..

الــ Firewall
الجدار الناري
(1) في الشبكات: هو مجموعة من البرامج المتصلة ببعضها البعض وموجودة على مزود المدخل gateway server على شبكة ما من أجل حماية موارد الشبكة الخاصة من المستخدمين القادين من شبكات أخرى. فالشركة التي لديها شبكة داخلية وتسمح لموظفيها بالاتصال بالانترنت، فإن هذه الشركة تقوم بتثبيت جدار ناري لمنع الدخلاء من الحصول على بيانات الشركة الداخلية.
(2)- في البرمجيات: يعرف الجدار الناري كنظام أو مجموعة نظم تطبق سياسة السيطرة على الدخول بين شبكتين. في نفس السياق يأخذ برنامج الحماية أحد الشكلين الآتيين:
برامج جدر نارية - برامج مخصصة تعمل على الحواسب الفردية.
جدر نارية للشبكات - آلية صممت لحماية حاسوب أو أكثر.
كلا النوعين السابقين للجدر النارية FireWalls يسمحان للمستخدم بالتعرف على الارتباطات المتجهة للداخل إلى الحواسب المحمية. والكثير منها أيضا يستطيع القدرة على التحكم في المنافذ القادرة أن تصل على الانترنت من الأجهزة المحمية.
