- كما كان بها عيبا تصميميا حيث كان مركز الثقل يرجع إلى مؤخرة الطائرة قليلا إذا استهلك ثلثى الوقود كان هذا يؤدى على عدم التحكم في الطائرة مما أدى في النهاية إلى عدم كفاءة الطائرة في الجو بحالة مناسبة أكثر من 45 دقيقة.

ثانيا العيب الخطير اللى في الميج 29
للميج -29 عيوب لا يمكن تجاهلها فلا يمكن مثلاً مقارنتها بطائرة متعددة المهام مثل f-16
اول عيوبها قصر مداها الكبير الذي يبلغ اقل من نصف مدى الأف -16. وتبدو وكأنها الوريثة الشرعية لعيوب الميج-21 . قدرتها على حمل الأسلحة الجوية محدودة فهي تحمل من صاروخين إلى اربع صواريخ سواء جو-جو أو جو- أرض مقارنة بثماني صواريخ للاف -16. كذلك رادارها اقصر مدى بشكل واضح وايضا عيب تصميمي في هيكلها يعرضها للسقوط في المناورات المنخفضه جدا على عكس الاف 16 التى تستطيع ان تناور من مدى ضيق جدا

New unified family of the
MiG-29K/KUB, MiG-29M/M2, MiG-35/MiG-35D fighters
In 2005 the RAC "MiG" commenced production of new unified family of multi-role fighters, belonging to the "4++" generation, consisting of:
– carrier-based MiG-29K (single seat) & MiG-29KUB (double seat) fighters;
– front-line MiG-29M (single seat) & MiG-29M2 (double seat) fighters;
– front-line MiG-35 (single seat) & MiG-35D (double seat) fighters.
All fighters have a high level of structure, power plant, airborne systems, avionics and weapons unification. The fighters unified family will be in production and subjected to improvements for a long time.
The MiG-29 fighters family
More than 1600 MiG-29 light fighters are operated in the RF Air Force and in 25 states over the world. The RAC «MiG» proceeds with serial production of the upgraded MiG-29 aircraft including the multi-role MiG-29SMT and upgraded MiG-29UB fighters.
In the interests of various Customers the integrated programs of the MiG-29 fighters upgrade are being successfully accomplished that allow to increase the aircraft efficiency and reduce the cost of their operation.

The two-seat supersonic MiG-31E fighter is a combat aircraft which has no analogues over the world. It is capable:
– to combat in group air fights at the distances which are inaccessible for any other fighter over the world;
– to realize the network-centric methods of controlling the combat operations in air when engaging within heterogeneous grouping of warfare means;
– to perform the long-range flight with speed of 3000km/h (M=2.83) at high altitudes.
Training facilities
The RAC "MiG" training facilities make it possible to realize the multi-level methodologically-coordinated program of sequential passing through all stages of training including:
– acquisition of theoretical knowledge;
– primary flight preparation at light aircraft;
– obtaining of practical skills at the simulators;
– practice of real missions at jet aircraft.
The RAC "MiG" offers to customers:
– MiG-AT trainer of new generation;
– complex of technical training aids.
Upgrading of the previous generation fighters
The RAC "MiG" combat aircraft MiG-21, MiG-23, MiG-27, MiG-25 have won the international recognition and continue to defense the sky of dozens of countries over the world. The RAC "MiG" supports the operation of these aircraft, works out and implements the programs of their upgrading and offers to replace the obsolete aircraft with new fighters on "trade-in" terms. In particular, the RAC "MiG" offers to supply the MiG-31E aircraft instead of obsolete MiG-25 aircraft.
