im having the same problem too while a friend of mine who uses Globelines Broadband can connect to silkroad easily.
never mind that;
i've just found something on the silkroad forums that enabled me to connect.
i just added this into the hosts file
121.128.133.26 gwgt1.joymax.com
right after 127.0.0.1
just follow the following steps:
(they worked for me)
1. Click Start .. select Run type this
notepad C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
then press enter or click on Ok.
This will load your hosts file
2. use the info below to edit your hosts file:
127.0.0.1 localhost
121.128.133.26 gwgt1.joymax.com
3. Reboot computer, and try running Silkroad Online again.
